In recent decades, Renewable Energy Sources (RES) have become more attractive due to the depleting fossil fuel resources and environmental issues such as global warming emissions from fuel-based power plants. However, intermittent nature of RES may cause a imbalance between generation demand. The is overcome with help Distributed Generators (DG), storage devices, RES. aggregation DGs, controllable loads that form single virtual entity called Virtual Power Plant (VPP). this article, optimal scheduling DGs in VPP done minimize cost. by exchanging utility grid devices based on bidding price. work, state charge (SOC) batteries also considered, which limiting factor for charging discharging batteries. This improves lifetime their performance. management using teaching-and-learning-based optimization algorithm (TLBO) proposed total operating cost 24 hours day. loss considered work. methodology validated IEEE 16-bus 33-bus test systems four different cases. results are compared other evolutionary algorithms, like Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) Ant Lion Optimization (ALO) algorithm.
